Walter G. Schroeder held several positions in the Extension Service including Extension Agent-at-Large, Lane County Extension Agent, and Coos County Agricultural Agent. In 1977, Schroeder became the Curry County staff chair.
John Hansen received a B.S. in agricultural economics from Oregon State College in 1941, beginning his work with the Extension Service in 1943. From 1949-1972, Hansen was Staff Chair for the Polk County Extension Station.

Duane Johnson worked with the Extension Service for 41 years, 1959-2000. Johnson held several positions including Acting Program Leader and State 4-H Leader.
Linda Modrell began as a secretary for the Extension Service, eventually becoming the Business Services Manager. Modrell also held the position of Director of Administrative Computer Systems for the Agricultural Science College before being elected as the Benton County Commissioner in 1999. Modrell was re-elected as Commissioner in 2002, 2006, and 2010.
Glenn Klein served as a Jackson County Agent from 1953-1960, then as a State 4-H Specialist from 1960-1968. Klein was the Leadership Development Specialist from 1968-1982. Klein received the Continued Excellence Award in 2006.
