James H. Jensen (left) served as president of Oregon State University from 1961-1969. Within these eight years, Jensen expanded OSU faculty and facilities significantly and founded the 25 Year Club, which recognized employees who have worked at OSU for 25 years.
William Jasper Kerr was chosen as president of Oregon Agricultural College in 1907 and led the College through a 25-year period of tremendous growth in numbers of students and faculty, academic and research programs, and physical facilities. He was president from 1907-1932.
The Finleys' first home home in Corvallis (known as the "Nest in the West") stood on Van Buren and 5th Streets. The Finleys are standing on the upper porch, with their son, Ernest, and a niece. On the lower porch are Rev. Lowell, pastor of the Corvallis Church, and his wife, right; Mr. Osborne and daughter; and Rosa Jacobs.
