Balck and white photograph. An outdoor portrait of a blacksmith, identified as Albert K. Hartshorn, in Log Cabin, British Columbia. Mr. Hartshorn stands next to a log cabin surrounded by the tools of his trade. To his right is a portable forge. He is dressed in a hat, log sleeve shirt with collar, long sleeve thermal, suspenders, shoes, and a thick, protective apron. Mr. Hartshorn sports a beard and mustache. In the foreground of the image is an anvil resting on the surface of a log. Partially visible in the lower left corner of the image are horseshoes. In the background of the image two horses and trees are visible.
