- An interior photograph of an unidentified man standing and holding up a small bunch of barley that is tied up. The barley is just as tall as the man holding it. Writing on the photograph on the bottom center is "Umatilla County Barley Maj. Moorhouse." Just under the title of the photograph is an autograph, "Maj. Moorhouse," which is upside down and backwards. In the bottom left corner is the number "1448." In the background is a backdrop that looks like plain canvas. In the foreground where the words are is part of a wooden floor.
