A Native American man, identified as Sequyena, is standing in a clearing with a horse. He is wearing a horned headdress with eagle feathers. He is also wearing blankets wrapped around his shoulders. He is carrying a staff in his right hand. The horse has a saddle blanket and blanket strips laid atop it.

An outside photograph of a man dressed in his regalia standing in front of a horse. The man is wearing a single trail bonnet with horns on the bonnet. He is wearing a blanket around his shoulders which cover most of his body. In his right hand are an Eagle feather staff and a beaded bag with long fringe. The horse is wearing feathers on its forehead, beaded martingale with a geometric design, and on the back of the horse is a saddle blanket with a hide possibly a cougar attached to the blanket. In the background behind the horse is a canvas tipi with door open. Behind the man in the background is a wagon.
