- Native American girl, identified as Som-kin of the Walla-Walla tribe. She has braids and is wearing a native dress, shawl or blanket over the shoulders, scarf over lap, beaded necklaces, beaded choker, and shell earrings

- An outside photograph of a woman identified by the photographer as "Princiss Som-kin". She is wearing a wingdress with a wool shawl over her shoulders and there is a scarf over her lap. She is sitting in front of a wool blanket backdrop. Leaning on the blanket in the bottom left side of the photograph is a board. The writing of "Princiss Som-kin" it is to the left of her head and the words "Major Moorhouse" are on the edge of wingdress by her left knee.
