- A Natvie-American woman and child sitting next to a tipi. Both wear scarves and shawls. There is a stack of firewood on the other side of tipi along with an upturned basket or pan. In the background, there are trees and an unidentified structure.

- An outside photograph of a woman and a child sitting on the side of a Tule mat tipi. The woman and the child are unidentified and they are sitting on the ground. The woman has her head down can not see her face. She is wearing a scarf over her head and wing dress. The child is wearing a dress. The Tule mat tipi is five layers high and has six poles on the outside of the tipi to hold down the mats. There is a rope in the middle of the outside poles to hold them down. The door is made of a cloth material which is in the middle of the photograph. In the background is some kind of shelter that has some unidentified objects under the shelter. The far background is a row of Cottonwood trees. Writing on the photograph is under the door of the tipi "No place like home Umatilla Reservation Maj. Moorhouse."
