- A Native-American man wearing Euro-American clothing sits on a horse, facing right. Behind him is a tipi with a pile of blankets to the right. Several branches are on the left, trees and shrubs are behind, and in the distance is a mountain range.

- An outside photograph of an unidentified man sitting on his horse next to a canvas tipi. In front of him on the ground are a bundle of blankets and other objects that are behind the tipi. In the front of the tipi is the door that a child is looking out of as the photographer had taken the photograph. Behind the man and the horse are three cottonwood tree poles. In the background are brush and cottonwood trees and open ridges.
