Events and activities depicted: Spring and Winter Pow Wows including dancing, the sale of jewelry and accessories, and making fry bread. Also included is a ceremony for the dedication of a small plaque honoring the Native Americans that lived in the Corvallis; Tcha Peenafu (the place where the elderberries grow) was the local Native American name for the Corvallis area.

Description
Descripción de la Entrevista: La señora Botero relata su niñez en Colombia, sus años escolares, la relación con sus hermanas y con su hermano, el negocio de sus padres, y de su familia en general. Habla de la gran violencia vivida en Colombia debido al narcotráfico y como se vivía diariamente bajo esas circunstancias difíciles. También habla del terremoto en el año 1999; los grupos paramilitares, personas civiles en Colombia, y cómo estas se defendían de las guerrillas de los narcotraficantes; y la importancia de la cultura del café en Colombia. Explica el proceso de su inmigración a los Estados Unidos, la llegada de su familia a California en el año 2006, y la adaptación en este país - sobre los trabajos disponibles y aprendiendo el inglés. Luego describe la vida en Madras y en Culver, Oregón: sus amistades, la importancia para ella de ser independiente como mujer, la comunidad en general en Culver, incluyendo algunas de las tensiones. Habla de cómo comenzó a participar en el programa Juntos, cómo Juntos ha cambiado su familia, y que ella está en el proceso de completar su maestría. También habla sobre las opiniones de la comunidad en relación a la educación y cómo esas perspectivas han cambiado. La señora Botero habla de que considera importante para sus hijos, comenta sobre la política local y nacional, y también habla de la importancia del fútbol, del Festival Cultural en Redmond, de su fe, la religión católica, y de sus valores. La señora Botero concluye la entrevista relatando las tradiciones en Colombia: habla de la navidad, de las comidas navideñas y diarias, de la música, del vestuario tradicional, de la gran y rica cultura colombiana.
