- The 1956 alumni include Bert Frey, Dr. Robert Loomis, Coach Joe Avezzano and Dick Gervais. Photo was used in the December 1981 Oregon Stater, p.11. Robert "Bob" Loomis graduated with a general science degree in 1956 and served as the medical director for PacificSource Health Plans. Loomis was also president of the Oregon Medical Association. Loomis has been involved in the OSU Alumni Association Board, OSU Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Beaver Athletic Student Fund. Loomis received the Martin Chaves Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
