- John Fryer (left) completed a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and PhD. at Oregon State in 1956, 1957, and 1964, respectively. He was a Professor of Microbiology from 1964-1995. Robert W. MacVicar (middle) was president of Oregon State University from 1970-1986. MacVicar was also a professor of chemistry. Carl L. Anderson (right) was a Professor of Health from 1949-1972.
