Ben A. Newell served as Assistant County agent for Marion County, Oregon from 1944-1951. In 1951 he became chairman of the Marion County office and retired in 1973.
Frederick F. McKenzie (left) was a Professor of Animal Husbandry from 1944-1960. Reub Long (middle) was a rancher and author in Oregon, and was on the State Board of Agriculture. James E. Oldfield (right) received a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Oregon State University in 1951. Oldfield served as the head of the Animal Science Department from 1967-1983.
Thomas E. Roberts was a Professor of Music at Oregon State from 1948-1978. Organ bears a plaque reading, "Presented to Ore. State University Sept. 1, 1961 by Whiteside Theater."
