Dr. Chih H. Wang was a Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Radiation Center and Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering, and head of the Department of Nuclear Engineering from 1950-1985.
Chih H. Wang was a founding member of the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Center. Wang received his Ph.D. from Oregon State University and in 1964 became the Director of the Radiation Center.

Edith Whitelock was born January 14, 1902 in Ontario, Canada. She moved to Oregon with her parents soon afterwards. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland, and entered Oregon Agricultural College in the fall of 1920. She graduated from OAC in 1924 with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics.
