Towel "Gamosa" of white and red woven cotton with 13" x 20 3/4" band of hand-brocaded pattern of peacocks and sombreros, pineapple and floral motifs in red silk floss; main body is white with intersecting red bands. Village women weave these towels in their spare time. The towels are given as gifts to dignitaries. Each home has a loom.
