Cushion Cover of four diamond fragments of bright brown silk satin brocade in a floral design; hints of shades of blue, green, and rose are visible; includes flat metallic gold threads that are coating paper; the satin has a velvet texture; back cover is of hand-spun, hand-woven linen. From record: the addition of paper saves silk without losing the rich effect. The original brocade would have been suitable for Temple use. Maybe Kinran weave.

Cushion Cover of a trapunto quilted peacock of tan woven fabric embellished with sequins and couched yarns in yellow, peach, blue, purple, and red; the peacock is surrounded by a circle of yellow couched yarn and round beads; design continues in a square shape of couched yarns and is finished with bands of cotton and woven fabric in blues and cream.
Pillow Sham of tan linen with a 8 1/4" horizontal band of Hedebo embroidery work at center in dark tan linen with cut-work, needle lace and satin stitch embroidery; designs of open-work lattice surrounded by swirling floral vines; center lattice design in the shape of a bowl or urn; open-work bands join panels of dark and light tan linen; back side is plain with a slit opening for pillow with concealed snap closures.
