Cushion Cover of six strips of colored cotton and linen stitched together and backed on medium blue linen; each panel is heavily worked with intricate embroidery in spiny lines that create a diamond pattern; each diamond has a tiny floral wheel within and tiny dots; panels in black, red, yellow, blue, pink and brown, each with multi-colored embroidery; Cushions were placed on the floor and used for sitting or reclining.
Bag (repurposed from a wedding dress) of hand-woven cotton with a 6" band of solid embroidery in black silk; pattern of a textural knot-like stitch in star-like motifs; cross-stitch stripe below the solid embroidery; a section of newer cotton is added at the bottom to finish the bag; no holes or straps at top.
