This image is included in Building Oregon: Architecture of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, a digital collection which provides documentation about the architectural heritage of the Pacific Northwest., The Breyman Brothers Fountain, added in 1904 as a memorial to Werner and Eugene Breyman, is at the far west end of the Willson Park. It was originally decorated with a statue of a soldier from the Spanish–American War and also served as a lamp post and horse trough. Today the statue holds no water and is sometimes planted with flowers.[44]
