a) Dress of navy blue print silk with repeat pattern of abstract soldiers, British flags, and politically charged symbols in pinks, chartreuse, blue, and light grey; bateau neckline; short, puffy sleeves are cut in one with yoke; stitched, horizontal tucks of yoke release fullness at the top of the sleeves; sleeves have two reverse pleats at the sleeve hem, one at front and one at back; mid-length skirt has four sunburst pleated godets, two at front and two at back, at knee level; unlined b) Belt of self-fabric is double-faced and stitched in horizontal stripes; self-silk covered buckle.
Negligee of sheer ivory pinstriped organza trimmed in a fine band of lace; round neckline with slit at center-front and ribbon tie closure; yoke is trimmed in lace and bodice is gathered into yoke seam; long sleeves are gathered at wrists; above-knee length with side vents.
Apron of white cotton with needlework lace insertions trimming the bib and skirt; skirt is gathered at the sides of the waistband; ties at back of waistband; bib ties at top; skirt hits below knee; red stitching on waistband: Pacey.
