Sari of mint green woven silk-cotton trimmed on the edges and ends with geometric striped bands of dark green, white, golden yellow and metallic gold threads; intricate patterns; exquisite quality; fringed ends.
Dress ensemble of lime green chiffon: a) Dress of lime chiffon has wide neckline with rectangular panels over shoulders causing a slight cap sleeve; U-shape panel at center-front bodice; full-length skirt has crescent top godets at the knee-length that dip to the right in an asymmetrical line; floor-length b) Jacket of lime chiffon has open-front trimmed in a ruffle of self-chiffon; long sleeves have a slit at wrists and a ruffle over the wrists that extends beyond the sleeve hem; three darts at center-back neckline; hits just below waist c) Sash belt with attached bow of self-chiffon; 1 ½? width.
Dress of ivory organdy with high square neckline and short sleeves; pin tucked bands accent the neckline, yoke, and end of sleeves; full-length skirt with pin tucked band below hips; bands all have vertical pin tucks; skirt is gently pleated into the waistline; attached ribbon bow of peach velour at waistline has hook and eye closure under bow; button placket down center-front bodice conceals a snap closure; side zip closure under left arm; attached full slip of white rayon faille with spaghetti straps;
Dress of black silk georgette with wide band of ecru lace trimming the V-neckline of the sleeveless bodice; yoke is lined in pale beige georgette; ankle-length skirt has bias cut flounces and added godets on each side; below the yoke dress is lined in black acetate under-dress; belt loops at each side; no belt found.
a) Dress of peach gauze with round neckline and long sleeves with cuffs; rust red, round buttons with loops at right shoulder to neckline, and at cuffs; sash from shoulder buttons trails down to above waist and has a patch of flowers in a basket at the hem; vertical pin pleats at shoulders; accents of pique stitch on bodice; drop waist skirt has has small reverse box pleats spaced 3 1/4" apart all around the skirt; hem dips in a crescent in between the pleats; tiny patch pocket at left front hip with an appliques patch of flowers in a basket; serged hem; unlined and see-through b) Belt of double faced peach gauze with buckle of peach tortoise shell.
Skirt suit of green ribbed tweed with black, bright brown, and teal threads: a) Jacket of self-tweed with wide, elongated collar with crescent pointed tips; wide, long sleeves with 2 1/2" slit at wrists; 3 self-covered button closure; fitted at waist with attached belt of self-fabric at back; lined in black crepe. b) Skirt of self-tweed has a straight silhouette; soft pleats at left and right front; darts at back; 10 1/2" slit at center-back; 1" waistband with side zip closure; lower mid-length; partially lined in back with black crepe.
