View of fields and hills of Northwest Tualatin valley after wheat harvest, late August. An older, open combine, weathered red in color with canvas sunshade sits mid-right. A wood barn, interior darkened but late sunlight filtering through board slits sits to extreme right, even with combine but further back. Barn and combine are straight on front elevations, very dark color & value due to low, fading sun. Painted in ochres, siennas, umbers, warm neutrals, etc. Acrylic polymer tempers on acrylic gesso coated, untempered fiberboard, final coat matte acrylic varnish over full panel face including continous 5 3/4 inches white (gesso) border.
