"Conducted fieldwork in multiple sites in Inner Mongolia. Focus was on traditional / contemporary art and music as well as the Obo Festival. Visits to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Normal University, the Xarmuren Grasslands, Baotou, Ordos, the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, Xilinhot, East Ujimqin, and the Bayan Oboo festival. Artists and locals who were visited included Sarin, a traditional Mongolian tailor, and Colmon, a local scholar and Mongolian calligrapher."
