An acrylic painting of a landscape with three barn houses in the backgrround, in front of multiple trees. In this image, the skyline is a washed-out white. In the foreground is what looks like a hedge of bushes in front of a light brown field. There is a distinction between the left and right side of the field, with, perhaps a harvested crop field in the middle., Near Wilkesboro; Robert Weller; E.O.C.I.; acrylic on gesso panels, The Oregon Arts Commission has ten Regional Arts Councils that provide delivery of art services and information. View of fields and hills of Northwest Tualatin valley after wheat harvest, late August. An older, open combine, weathered red in color with canvas sunshade sits mid-right. A wood barn, interior darkened but late sunlight filtering through board slits sits to extreme right, even with combine but further back. Barn and combine are straight on front elevations, very dark color & value due to low, fading sun. Painted in ochres, siennas, umbers, warm neutrals, etc. Acrylic polymer tempers on acrylic gesso coated, untempered fiberboard, final coat matte acrylic varnish over full panel face including continous 5 3/4 inches white (gesso) border. This was a place and a time of God's peace and light. I am priviledged to share this experience with the people of Oregon.
