Dress of black silk satin and blue velvet with accents of yarn embroidered flowers; bodice has scoop neckline with panel of blue velvet at center-front and a bouquet of yarn embroidered flowers in magenta, lilac and greens; shirring at shoulders; long sleeves with wide cuffs of of blue velvet with bow; snap closure at wrists; drop waist has a band of shirring with a wide, 4" attached belt of blue velvet with a large bow at back above the shirred portion; front right side features a small round bouquet of floral yarn embroidery that covers part of the shirring and velvet belt; skirt is knee-length; bodice is lined in an attached silk shell; pull-over.
Dress of black faille with V-neckline and long dolman sleeves with attached inner shoulder pads; shaped, dart-less bodice is wrapped and folded over toward the center creating a lapel; dress wraps over at the waistline and closes with a double breasted hook and eye closure; 2 black plastic buttons on bodice and 2 on upper skirt; 2 side slit pockets; ends of wrap skirt are folded under creating an open slit at lower portion with self-fabric within (a triangular reverse pleat); mid-length skirt is straight.
