Approx. 78 x 88 inch 'Double Wedding Ring' pieced by Ida Bixby when she was about 86 years old, around 1968. She was a woman who had lived with Peters in Portland. She pieced it in 1967 when she lived with them. It was her 18th Double Wedding Ring quilt. She quilted on her lap--and she pieced it in two weeks. $300 insured

Pink and white '9 Patch' pieced by Marguerite Boentgen, 1927 or 1928 at Knoppa(?). Audrey Peters got it around 1940 at high school graduation with stipulation that Audrey Peters quilt it--she quilted in in 1972. Approximately 85 x 73 inches. $250 insured.
