An abstraction of line and form presented in relief sculptural form. This piece is comprised of six cutouts of light purple material whose shape references thick, sinuous line. These six shapes suggest a human form. Between what might be interpreted as arms and legs are another eight cutouts in dark purple material; three on the left side and five on the right. The pieces hang out slightly from the wall so their forms cast interesting shadows on the wall behind the sculpture., Barry Pelzner; della robbia blue; 1979; 78x78 inches, http://pnca.edu/programs/bfa/faculty.php, http://www.froelickgallery.com/Artist-Detail.cfm?ArtistsID=248, The Oregon Arts Commission has ten Regional Arts Councils that provide delivery of art services and information.
