Richardson Hall opened in 1999 and houses several departments in the College of Forestry, and includes faculty offices, research labs, and a GIS classroom/laboratory. It is named for Kaye Richardson, an Oregon forester who provided a major gift for construction of the building.
A. L. Strand sitting on left. August LeRoy Strand served as president of Oregon State University from 1942-1961. Strand helped create the Oregon State College Foundation in 1947 and introduced the idea of an OSU golf course.
Camp Arboretum was a Civilian Conservation Corps camp located in Peavy Arboretum from 1933-1942. by May 1935, 39 buildings had been constructed at the camp.
Forestry Club Cabin and surrounding buildings at McDonald Forest. This was the first cabin, which burned in February 1949. A new cabin was quickly constructed.
