78 x 89 inch crepes and siels or satus from graduation gown material. Followed a pattern from out of a magazine which called for this kind of material. Got the graduation gown material from her sister-in-law in Nebraska. All done by hand, this one about 3 years ago. Son has claimed it as his own. A previous quilt like this--the first one of this pattern--Mrs. J. sold to Ernest Borgnine who was here at the Scandinavia Festival while shooting a film at Cottage Grove. This was 1971. He bought the quilt for $75.

65 x 85 inch started by Emma Jensen's daughter in Can.(?). Sent squares to family and friends, got pieces back for Emma Jensen's birthday in 1939 but never got around to quilt it. Hattie and Marguerite quilted it about 1955. (Don't know why 1966 is on it.) Junction City
