3. 78 x 89 inch crepes and siels or satus from graduation gown material. Followed a pattern from out of a magazine which called for this kind of material. Got the graduation gown material from her sister-in-law in Nebraska. All done by hand, this one about 3 years ago. Son has claimed it as his own. A previous quilt like this--the first one of this pattern--Mrs. J. sold to Ernest Borgnine who was here at the Scandinavia Festival while shooting a film at Cottage Grove. This was 1971. He bought the quilt for $75.
