Her dramatic color and light is further enhanced by the use of black as a base color (monotypes on black paper). Cie Goulet attended San Francisco Art Institute, Parsons School of Design and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1965, where she studied under the late Jack Wilkinson. In the last twenty years the artist has exhibited in various areas of the U.S. including: Tamasulo Gallery, Cranford, NJ; Louis Meisel Gallery, NY; Artists Space, NY as well as one person exhibitions at Lynn McAllister Gallery, Seattle, WA; Salishan Lodge, Gen Eden, OR; River Run Gallery, Ketchum, ID and the Laura Russo Gallery, Portland, OR.
