"The Competitor" is a 1920 bronze casting by Robert Tait McKenzie. It was one of the first pieces of public art to be installed at Oregon Agricultural College.

Description
Many consider Selig to have been the greatest gymnast in OSU history. She won three individual national titles – the balance beam in 1989 and 1990, and the floor exercise in 1990 – and was a seven-time All-American. This statue, created by James Stephenson, was installed in 1993.

Description
Alice Biddle was a member of OAC's first graduating class in 1870. She completed the college curriculum in three years, and graduated at the age of 16. The formal title of this 1983 bronze statue, created by artist Kirk St. Maur, is "The Quest."
