This photo shows an example of many fire breaks which were constructed by many farmers around their farms in advance of the fire season.<br>This break was on the John Bushong Ranch, Plevna District.<br>The photo was used in the 1942 Klamath County Extension Annual Report.
The fire trail was constructed by the county at the foot of Stukel Mountain near Crystal Springs in Klamath County, Oregon.<br>Photo was used in the 1943 Klamath County Extension Annual Report, page 43a.
