- Delmer Goode became Assistant College Editor in 1919, eventually serving as the Director of University Publications from 1943-1956. In 1919, Goode founded Troop 1 of the Boy Scouts of America. Herman Scullen was honey bee Entomologist from 1920-1953. During Scullen's years in the Entomology department, the wasp collection increased dramatically. The Herman A. Scullen Memorial Fellowship was established for graduate studies in apiculture.
