- Donor purchased this tea cloth in 1927 from a collection brought from Spain by Aaron Frank. The Hispanic Museum examined it and placed it as early 18th century. It was catalogued as a table runner, but another similar object in the collection is a towel carried by waiters/servants to wipe the hands of diners.
