- Fingertip Towel of fine pale pink Irish linen with band at bottom of beige linen blocked in an embroidered band at top and bottom; the bottom of the towel is embroidered with a "Jacaranda Tree" in pink and taupe; pink flowers and petals are scattered about the ground; the embroidery is very detailed and textural, and has open-work sections.

- The Jacaranda Mimosifolia tree is native South-Central, South America. It has beautiful periwinkle flowers. Some of the linens were done in the periwinkle color, others were done in different colors such as this pink one. Marghab Linens Ltd. was founded in 1933 on the island of Madeira, off the coast of Portugal, by Emile and Vera Marghab. The women of the island were introduced to hand embroidery in the mid-1800s and began to specialize in the art. Vera designed all of the linens, and had high quality expectations for the women that worked for her company. The linens gained a great reputation and are of high value today.
