Shawl of ivory woven satin brocaded in a paisley, plant design in red, green, blue and yellow; center rectangle has a pattern of large motifs of paisley, plant, stars and crowns blocked by figured band; outer area has a figured diamond grid in yellow with small colorful motifs within; ends are finished in a white silky fringe, 8" long.
Sari of white organza brocaded in gold flat thread (tinsel) in a floral band design with little fans or shell motifs with other biomorphic shapes; design is similar to wax batiks from Indonesia.
