This abstract and thickly painted piece relies on a division of space created by the defintion of a square within a square to frame the view of two stretched oval forms, presented one above the other on the diagonal of the inner square. The one on the top is bright yellow, the other is white, and both are outlined with thick black strokes. Her work has been exhibited in numerous one-person shows throughout the west as well as several exhibitions nationally, including the David Findly Gallery and Sue Ellen Haber Gallery in New York, the Seattle Art Museum, the Corcoran Gallery in D.C., and the First Western States Biennial, that traveled to San Francisco, Denver, and Washington D.C.
