"The 1875 Hugh Cosgrove house is the only example of a Gothic Revival style dwelling in the study area. The Cosgrove house displays such typical characteristics as a steeply pitched gable roof, prominent facade gable, and bilateral symmetry. Decorative detailing includes triangular molding over the windows, sidelights, and transom surrounding the front door. The house still has its original shutters."
