Note
Taukma Tono, head of the Landscape Architecture Department, Tokyo Agricultural University, was commissioned in 1963 to design the Japanse Garden. The Garden opened to the public in summer, 1967. The Kashintei Tea House, built in Japan, was rebuilt on its current site in 1968. The Service Center (Garden Gift Store) was built in 1994.
