According to the 1930 US Census, Edward A. Miller was born in California in about 1880. His father was a French Canadian and his mother was from California. He and his wife Olive M. Miller had three children, Margaret S. Miller, Edward A. Miller, and Helen L. MIller. He came to Portland in 1909 and worked for Bennes, Hendricks & Tobey; Emil Schacht & Son; and Bennes & Hendricks. He established his own office in 1919-1920. His works include the Panida Theater (Sand Point, Idaho, 1927).
