Dan Powell is an Associate Professor and Head of the Photography Program in the Department of Art at the University of Oregon, and has shown his work extensively both on the national and international level. As an artist, his work includes constructed imagery done in the studio as well as social landscape and physical landscape imagery ranging from such diverse areas as Eastern Oregon and the Western United States to New York City and various European Countries. Typically, his work is interpretive and expressive in nature.
