An interior photograph of a European-American man, identified as Lee Moorhouse, standing in a room filled with Native American ceremonial objects and general artifacts. The man is holding a rifle in his right hand with the rifle base leaning on the floor. He is attired in European-American clothing with a hat, necktie, vest, shirt, jacket, trousers and shoes. Two walls of the room can be discerned. The wall to the left of the man shows an open door to what appears to be a small storage cabinet. There is a book on the cabinet and a paper attached to the open door. Behind the cabinet are two chairs, one of which is a rocking chair. Behind the chairs is what appears to be a couch; there is a Native-American blanket laying on it. All along the left wall are various Native American artifacts, including a headdress and hand drums. There is a deer's head mounted on the wall with a painting or photograph under it. To the right of the man is a full size deer mount. Behind the man and mounted deer are various tables and a chair. Description
An interior photograph of two men sitting in a room with a stove in the foreground. The men are seated in chairs, with the man on the left side of the photograph holding a book in his left hand. The men are sitting to the left of the stove, which appears to be cast iron. The stove door is open, showing decorative details. On the wall behind the men is an assortment of photographs, most of which appear to be of Native American subjects. Some of the photographs are mounted in carved frames. There are 24 fully visible pictures, and one picture partially hidden behind the stove pipe. Also on the back wall are four bookcases, three of which are bookcases with clear-glass fronts. Description
A wood-framed structure, covered with a striped tent cloth, appears to have three wooden walls and a wooden floor. From the open side, one can see that the tent structure is filled with an assortment of Native American objects and artifacts, suspended from the walls and crossbeam, set on a table, and arranged on the floor in front of the back wall. There is a sign on the tent that says "Major Moorhouse's Indian Pictures." The inventory includes: blankets and other woven textiles; photographs, some framed; beaded bags; baskets; a cradleboard; a saddle and bridle; tomahawks; bow and arrows in a quiver; a buckskin dress with beaded fringe; a beaded buckskin shirt and pants, a pair of beaded moccasins, and a feathered cape, displayed together as an ensemble; a small statue of a Native American man, wearing a feathered robe and headdress, a shell necklace, a beaded breastplate, and beaded moccasins; more feathered headdresses and other feathered and beaded items; a pair of beaded gloves; a beaded necklace; a pile of fur (under the table).

Description
A Native American man and two Native American girls are standing inside a tipi made of woven mats. The tipi has a pole hung horizontally across the diameter. The man is wearing a cloth shirt, a woven vest and woven belt, pants made from a Pendleton blanket, with a piece of blanket or cloth draped in front, earrings, necklace, and headdress. The two girls are wearing long cloth dresses, with striped blankets draped around them. The older girl has long braids, earrings, and her blanket is fringed on all four sides. The younger girl has on a hat or head scarf. The inside perimeter of the tipi contains blankets, a drum with drum sticks, a rifle, a kettle, a pail, a bowl, and a pile of sticks. There are several objects hanging from the wall, including a leather case with shoulder strap, and some ornamental items, some with fur tails. The pail is only visible in the right-hand photo.

Description
A Native American woman, dressed in Native American costume, is seated on a chair, in front of a wall filled with various Native American artifacts. The woman is wearing a headdress with horns and feathers, a beaded buckskin dress with beaded fringe, beaded leggings, and floral design moccasins. She has long braids, a beaded choker and beaded necklace, a shell necklace, copper bracelets, a ring, and is holding a beaded bag. A Pendleton blanket is draped over the chair. Hanging from the wall are assorted feathers and knives, decorative cords with tassels, posters, a photograph, swords with scabbards, floral design cradleboards, a horse bridle with reins, woven bags, a beaded floral design glove or gauntlet, leather goods, beadwork, a walking stick, and a tanned animal hide on which is painted a Native American man. There are several items on the floor, including another blanket, a bow and two empty quivers (one beaded, one plain), a tomahawk decorated with a fur tail, more loose feathers, and a woven basket.

He is wearing a headdress with feathers, cloth pants made from a blanket, and a plaid, fringed breechcloth. He has beaded moccasins, leather straps with bells wrapped around his calves and ankles, and fur arm bands with feathers and tassles. He has a beaded belt around his waist and a fur bandoleer with beaded decorations. He is wearing a beaded choker and his hair is tied into two long plaits. He is holding a stick or rod covered with fur and adorned with feathers. His chair and the ground around it are covered by two Pendleton blankets. There are a couple of objects placed on the blankets near his feet. The tipi fills up most of the background in this image.
