8. Approx. 78 x 88 inch 'Double Wedding Ring' pieced by Ida Bixby when she was about 86 years old, around 1968. She was a woman who had lived with Peters in Portland. She pieced it in 1967 when she lived with them. It was her 18th Double Wedding Ring quilt. She quilted on her lap--and she pieced it in two weeks. $300 insured
