The man sitting next to her wears a short brimmed hat, long-sleeved shirt with collar, dark vest with two buttons, pants, and knee-high leg coverings that appear to be attached to his shoes. These shoes also appear to be moccasins with circular buttons sewn around the top of the shoe. A girls sits in front of the man with her arm draped over his knee. She wears long earrings, rings on her pinky and ring fingers, and a dark, long-sleeved button-up dress. The skirt material has a decorative print. The man on the end appears to have his face painted with a light color. He wears a long-sleeved shirt with collar, necktie, vest and pants. A large dog sits on the ground next to him. An unidentifiable piece of finely woven material lays to the left in the foreground of the image. Other objects visible in the foreground are a circular metal pan and a small pile of wooden sticks. The background is out of focus, but contains a structure built of wood, or metal pieces secured together.

She is wearing a white long-sleeved blouse, necklaces, skirt and shoes. She is weaving a partially finished basket that is sitting on her lap. A child with short black hair is sitting to the right of the woman and is wearing a long-sleeved plaid garment. The child is holding a partially woven basket. Nine baskets with multi-colored geometric patterning on their surface surround the woman and child.

The toddler, wearing a stocking cap, white neckkerchief, fur-lined jacket, and laced boots, is standing in front of the woman. The woman is wearing a duo-toned stocking hat, striped scarf, and white checkered dress with black belt and metal buckle.
