Description
The background of this piece is divided in half. The top portion is light brown and the bottom portion is an off-white. A rendering of a crumpled and torn piece of paper occupies the top two-thirds of the picture plane, and the bottom of the paper interects the division between brown space and off-white space slightly. The paper contains a dotted, red outline of a square and an indiscernable, shadey-gray shape. I hope my work can provide some escape from the sometimes frenetic world we all live in. I am a traditionalist. I don't see the art I produce as breaking any kind of new ground but rather I apply myself to existing forms and attempt to inject perhaps fresh content.
