Eyeglass Holder of a gold chain with hair pin at one end and gold clasp at other end; the clasp would attach to a drilled hole one edge of the spectacles and the hair pin would go in the hair as a safe guard for holding the glasses; spectacles had no ear piece attachment and were just secured with a metal piece that fit on the bridge of the nose.
Calash bonnet of golden brown, subtle plaid cotton or silk with ruffle trim framing the face and neckline; collapsible accordion design is created by sewing wires into channels of fabric; fabric is gathered along the channels; collapsible when not in use, the bonnet lies flat; high shape is to accommodate high, bouffant-like hairstyles or wigs; lined in gauze.
Combination open drawers of ivory cotton with scoop neckline trimmed in floral lace with drawstring; waistband has drawstring casing with openwork and embroidery; pants are flared with eyelet embroidery near hem and triangular scalloped hemline.
Baby's cap of white batiste with pin tucks and open-work embroidery; cap-like with circular pipe at crown center; fabric is pleated into circular pipe and trimmed at the end with box-pleats and lace; large bow of self-fabric at front; large ties of self-fabric backed with batiste.
Handkerchief of a printed page on fine cotton; the page consists of three sections of poems/songs dealing with the new country...Landing of Columbus; each of the three sections has a photo image at top.

Man's Nightshirt of ivory linen with ring collar and button placket opening at front; placket is trimmed in eyelet embroidery; long, full sleeves are gathered at shoulder, and into 2" cuffs; cuffs have button holes for cuff-links; knee-length with 9" slits at sides; man's shirt.
Dress ensemble of gold silk brocade in a floral lattice pattern with muslin lining; empire length bodice has bateau neckline; upper portion of long sleeves are pleated and fitted; shirring above banded cuffs; center-front pleats radiate to yoke-shoulder; hook and eye fasteners at back; skirt is floor length with all around unpressed pleats.
Dress of ecru silk taffeta wide neckline and short bouffant sleeves; neckline is trimmed in pointed scallops of self-taffeta that fall over the shoulders; back closing of button covered hooks and eyes; band at waist; skirt is pleated at front and cartridge pleated at center-back; 2 padded bands at lower skirt trimmed with applied pointed scallops about 16" above hem of full-length skirt; all hand-made.

Accessory panels of ivory tulle over taffeta edged with pleated satin and tulle; either for neckline or skirt; long with one curved end and one folded side with soft-V end.
Fingerless gloves of hand-knit lace net with raised baubles and bands of wide tulle knit; below-elbow length; individual hole for thumb and opening for fingers; both designed for left hand.
