An acrylic painting featuring two spiraled round forms, mixing together in the middle of the piece., Lucinda Parker received her M.F.A. from the Pratt Institute in New York in 1968 and started work as a professor at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland in 1974. Her work has been exhibited in numerous one-person shows throughout the west as well as several exhibitions nationally, including the David Findly Gallery and Sue Ellen Haber Gallery in New York, the Seattle Art Museum, the Corcoran Gallery in D.C., and the First Western States Biennial, that traveled to San Francisco, Denver, and Washington D.C.
